Starfish Search 2019 Was a Success!
This year's “Starfish Search” scavenger hunt was an amazing success!
The Numbers:
41 participants made up nine teams from five different nations! Canada, Ecuador, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States all were represented.
$350 was raised from registration fees for the scavenger hunt.
$553 was raised was by participants hosting fundraisers as part of the scavenger hunt.
Nearly $70 worth of in-kind items was donated from our wish list (which includes books, school supplies, etc.) for our Scholars in Ecuador as part of the scavenger hunt!
All prizes for the scavenger hunt were donated in-kind.
Sources of the donations summarized above included 26 new Starfish supporters!
